Fameline Offshore Sailing Regatta 2024: Where Passion for Sailing, Networking & Enthusiasm Intersect
An escape to serenity and an unforgettable journey! The 7th edition of the Fameline Offshore Sailing Regatta, taking place every other year, concluded on September 28th to rave reviews, with both participants and attendees sharing moments in Limassol, a breathtaking location surrounded by azure waters and endless horizons. Embarking on an exhilarating sailing adventure filled with excitement and fellowship, this event creates cherished lifetime memories and emotions, whether you're driven by a passion for sailing or seeking to expand your professional circle.
Organized by Fameline Holding Group and the Limassol Marina, the event took place on Saturday, September 28th, featuring two Offshore Sailing races: the Corporate Race and the Open Race. Over 35 sailing yachts competed in these races, with more than 250 guests participating as crew members. The evening Cocktail Party at Gazebo Mare – Limassol Marina, accompanied by live performances from Emily & Friends Party Band and Greek Superstar Sakis Rouvas, received great praise and excitement. Additionally, senior government officials and prominent members of the island’s shipping and maritime community attended the evening’s festivities, adding further prestige to this highly regarded event.
In his welcoming speech on behalf of the FHG Board of Directors, Deputy CEO, Mr. Andreas Alvanis remarked: “Once again, the Fameline Offshore Sailing Regatta has united the island’s sailing community in a dynamic event dedicated to fostering teambuilding, adventure, networking, and solidarity through the exhilarating sport of sailing.”
The awards for the winning teams of the Fameline Offshore Sailing Regatta were presented by the CEO of Fameline Holding Group, Mr. Adamos Seraphides, as follows: Category A, 1st Place: Soteco Int., 2nd Place: Kaeline 2, 3rd Place: VTE Filter, Category B, 1st Place: KNS, 2nd Place: Kaeline 1, 3rd Place: BLRT Repair Yards, Category C, 1st Place: DELL, 2nd Place: Elite Blue Group / Skyside, 3rd Place: Acronis and Over All race, 1st Place KNS, 2nd Place: Soteco Int. and 3rd Place Kaeline 2.
The event brought together enthusiasts of all skill levels to navigate the open waters, promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, and community spirit.
